You agree that you as buyer and we as shop owner are responsible for determining the amount of sales, use or other taxes that you may owe as a result of your Marketplace purchase. You also agree that as shop owner we are responsible to collect, to report and to remit any sales, use or other taxes as may be required under applicable law. You agree (a) that has no responsibility to collect, report or remit sales, use or any other applicable taxes in connection with your purchase, and (b) to fully indemnify, defend and hold harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, awards, fines, costs, expenses and liability in any way associated with foregoing. will only collect and remit applicable sales taxes on all orders that ship into the States of California and Iowa.
We do not currently ship to PO Boxes, APO Boxes, or FPO Boxes. We use a variety of shippers, some of whom do not allow delivery to PO Boxes. To prevent the need to cancel your order after it has been placed, we do not allow orders to ship to any PO Boxes for any orders. Additionally, there are certain restrictions on exporting certain kinds of technology outside of the United States. These restrictions complicate or prevent our suppliers from shipping products to APO or FPO mailboxes. As a result, we do not ship to any APO Boxes or FPO Boxes. General Shipping Policy has tried to make its shipping and handling prices and policies as fair as possible, so you benefit from our competitive pricing, plus the convenience of delivery to your door. For your convenience, if you ordered two or more items, you may receive them in multiple boxes on different days, because of varying item availability and shipping locations. We do not charge you extra shipping for split shipments. We do our best to ensure that shipping is correctly calculated before you purchase; however, at times it may not be possible to do so accurately. We reserve the right to notify you after you’ve purchased an item of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver your order. If notified of any additional charges, you also have the right to modify or cancel your order for a full refund. Freight Delivery Policy "Curb Side Delivery" - AKA Freight or “LTL” Shipping—This is reserved for large, heavy, or oversized items such as large sinks, bathtubs, shower doors, major appliances, etc. These items are palletized and loaded onto a large truck for shipment. These items are delivered by scheduled appointment by lift-gate for to-the-curb service. ALL ITEMS MUST BE INSPECTED FOR FREIGHT DAMAGE PRIOR TO THE DELIVERY DRIVER LEAVING. ANY CONCEALED DAMAGE (INSIDE THE BOX) MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS OF RECEIVING THE SHIPMENT. IF YOU REPORT CONCEALED DAMAGES BEYOND 7 BUSINESS DAYS OF RECEIPT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL GET A FULL CREDIT AS OUR ABILITY TO FILE A CLAIM WITH THE FREIGHT CARRIER WILL HAVE EXPIRED.

General Returns Any return reason that is not based on a mis-shipment, a damaged or defective product will be classified as a General Return. All general returns must be set up within 30 days from the day you receive your product. To receive a refund, please make sure of the following: * All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition * The product must be free from scratches and/or defects * All merchandise cannot have been installed * You must have the original packaging for the item * There cannot be any writing or labels on the packaging for the item Packages must be sent back by customer via a traceable source, such as FedEx or UPS. Please do not use USPS. All items must be returned with their assigned return authorization (RGA) number. Items returned without an RGA number may delay credit Gas powered items that have had gasoline put in them are not returnable due to shipping restrictions on hazardous materials. Once gasoline has been put in the tank the item immediately falls under manufacturer warranty. You may contact us or the manufacturer in order to locate a service center near you. You can also cancel items that have not been shipped yet. To cancel an order that has not yet shipped, please call our customer service department immediately or notify us through your online Rakuten Account page. Once an item or an order has been shipped it cannot be canceled, and you will have to process a general return once its been received. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, has simplified the return process. We now offer pre-paid labels (PPLs) on all general returns. The cost to ship the item back to us is deducted from the credit the customer receives once the item is returned. DEFECTIVE RETURNS** We can process defective returns and refunds only for items purchased from on the Rakuten Marketplace. To set up a defective return online, login to your Rakuten account. All defective returns must be set up within 30 days from the day you receive your product. **The following manufacturers do not accept defective returns: Campbell Hausfeld & Ridgid Tools. Instead items must be sent or taken to an authorized service center where they will be inspected and repaired or replaced at the manufacturers option. Returns via mail Follow the simple directions below to make your return by mail: Please contact our returns department by initiating your return request online at Rakuten (Your Account -> Your Orders). We will receive this request and initiate your return immediately, however it could take up to 3-5 days for you to receive your RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. Along with this RGA number you’ll receive a ship-to address where you must send your merchandise. All items must be returned with their assigned return authorization (RGA) number. Items returned without an RGA number may delay credit. Packages must be sent back by customer via a traceable source, such as FedEx or UPS. Please do not use USPS. Include all original packing materials, manuals, and accessories with the product to avoid any additional fees. We recommend items be returned via UPS or insured parcel post for proof of delivery. Please be certain that items are secure in their packaging so damage does not occur while they are in transit back to our warehouse. You are responsible for all freight charges. However, you’ll be credited all reasonable and customary freight charges relevant to that item if product is defective or the wrong item was shipped. REFUNDS We will notify you via email of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item. PLEASE NOTE: We will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. We will do our best to process the return quickly. Please allow up to 14-21 days for processing. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number only. ***For LTL general returns*** General returns on LTL shipments (Light Truck Load), will be subject to a restocking fee, ranging from $125-$250+, based on the weight of the product. General return shipments can also be shipped back via a customer‘s choice of service in which the customer will work out all logistical aspects of returning the freight to the provided return warehouse address. This return must also be processed within 30 days of receiving the item. Please allow an extra 7 days on top of normal return procedures for a credit on the original purchasing card.
